WE SIGNED A LEASE TODAY!!!

Today we signed our three year lease with Urban Works and the owner of the Belmont Dairy building.  So we went in covered the windows and put up two beautiful signs.  We are off to a (slower than expected) GREAT start.  I can't begin to tell you how excited we are about breaking ground on our build-out.  YEAH!!  ONE STEP CLOSER!

Wednesday we will meet with the architect and general contractor.  Then we start??

Did you start Saturday mornings with the Smurfs or Bugs Bunny & friends? Did you wish you were Superman? Did you collect Star Wars figures by the dozens? Did you open your own Lemonade Stand? If you answered yes to any of these (and even if you didn't) you will love reading Kim & Jason! Have a fun trip back to childhood.

It all starts with an idea...

After months and months of thinking, plotting and scheming, my husband, children and I decided that a Soda Pop & Candy Shop would be a great family adventure.  We have found a great location in a trendy foodie/boutique district.  We are surrounded by many restaurants, bars, a retro clothing store, hair salon, gift shops and more.

We are excited to offer retro hard-to-find candies, bulk candy, small batch and obscure sodas, as well as an old fashioned sit-down soda counter.  Our place will be cozy, with plenty of options for seating.  Counter stools, leather couches and bar-top window seats, we will have a spot for every comfort level.  Doing our part to "KEEP PORTLAND WEIRD" we will have a shrine for one of Portland's famous icons.

We will keep you posted on all of our progress.
