Well, slowly but surely things are coming along. The major plumbing work has been finished and now electrical work has begun. Carl and his crew from Vintage Wood Works have began building the candy displays, floating ceiling clouds and the entryway to the back room. We are working with Clear Channel on a billboard. Watch for it 12/12 (hopefully) on the back corner lot of 26th and SE Belmont.
Cheers,
I'll keep you posted.

Yum, we can't get enough of these!!
We love the sweetness of the center that melts in your mouth along with the texture and crunch from the outside layer. YUM!! My kids can't get enough of these. This was the treat we took with us last time we went to visit family in Canada. I think now they are hooked too.

Brain Candy..
Here are some candy tidbits for you to ponder:
- Sixty million chocolate Easter bunnies are produced each year.
- It takes 6 minutes to produce a Marshmallow Peep.
- The melting point of cocoa butter is just below the human body temperature — which is why it literally melts in your mouth. Or your hands!
- It’s not just kids! Americans over 18 years of age consume 65 percent of the candy that’s produced each year.
- What do you do? 74 percent of kids eat the ears on chocolate bunnies first.
- Americans eat 25 pounds of candy, per person, per year. But the people of Denmark eat 36 pounds of candy per person, per year!
- Great supplies of licorice were found in King Tut’s tomb.
- The Aztecs of Mexico introduced Europe to chocolate in the 16th century.
- Cotton candy is made out of 100% sugar.
